Playground Rules

The playground is there for all children to play and have fun. This can be done safely and enjoyably together with a parent, guardian or supervisor.

To ensure the safety of children and parents in the playground, a number of rules have been agreed upon. We ask everyone to respect and follow these rules.

The association relies on the sense of responsibility of all parents and supervisors. Together we keep the playground a safe, clean and pleasant place.

Opening and supervision

From April to October, the playground may be opened between 09:00 and 17:00, as long as the playground is not rented.

The playground can be opened by an adult who collects the key from one of the key addresses.

When you open the playground:

  • you take responsibility for the children who come to play
  • you keep an eye on the children to ensure everyone’s safety
  • you close the playground again when you leave
  • you return the key to the same key address

If you leave and cannot transfer this responsibility to another parent, you must close the playground again.

Children under the age of 10 may only play in the playground under the supervision of an adult and will not be given a key.

Acces

Members can play in the playground free of charge

  • Non-members pay a small fee per child
  • Adults may enter the playground free of charge
  • Supervision is provided by the adults present.

If there is no supervision, the playground must remain closed.

Safety

The playground equipment is inspected annually by an independent inspection authority.

For small accidents there is a first aid kit available in the clubhouse. You can find it on the wall next to the door. Extra bandages can be found in the drawer under the coffee machine.

In serious situations always call 112.

If you need to contact a doctor, you can call:

  • Parklaan Medical Practice – +31 227 591334
  • Elft Medical Practice – +31 227 591234

If an accident occurs or you discover an unsafe situation in the playground, please report this via heldersebuurt@gmail.com.

The board values reports of accidents or defects so we can respond quickly if necessary.

What is not allowed

To keep the playground safe and pleasant for everyone, please follow these rules.

  • No dogs in the playground. Assistance dogs are allowed.
  • Do not bring glassware. It can break and is dangerous.

For safe play we also ask you to keep the following in mind:

  • Wear proper footwear to help prevent accidents
